This policy covers this website. The Live-ocracy app and portal carry their own notices.
Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is the entity named in the imprint. Data-protection questions are answered at the privacy address given there.
What this website does not do
This site sets no cookies and embeds no tracking, no analytics, no ad networks and no social-media plugins. Fonts are served from our own server. The only third-party connection is the map view — and it happens only when it is loaded with a click (see below). That is why there is no consent banner: the click is the consent.
Booking flow (demo)
The booking flow is currently a demo. Entries do not leave the browser; search details and the state of the demo are kept only in the browser's session storage (sessionStorage) and are deleted when the tab is closed.
Server log files
When pages are requested, our server processes technically necessary data: the address requested, the time, the volume transferred, the browser type and a shortened IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operating and securing the website). The data is deleted after a short period and is not combined with other sources.
Contact form and email
For an enquiry we process the details given in order to handle it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We keep the enquiry for as long as it is needed to handle it and answer follow-up questions, then delete it unless statutory retention periods apply.
Map view (OpenStreetMap)
On the locations page a map can be loaded. It is embedded only after a click; the browser then fetches map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which technically transmits the IP address there. Without the click no connection is made. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, given by the click).
Rights of data subjects
There is a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
